The Private Cloud Services’ department is the largest IT environment within ABN AMRO Bank. It includes all parts within the Open Systems context that are required to fully serve consumers. 

Every day 1000's of IT people, bank employees and customers depend on not only the availability of our solutions, but also the necessary developments within this IT field. The dynamics within this area are therefore great, fun and challenging.

One of the teams that is part of this department is the Malware Protection Team. This team plays a crucial role in maintaining the security of the bank. They are responsible for several malware protection tools that keep the bank safe, but is also exploring new developments on the market that can be of interest. 

Your job

As an IT Security Engineer in the Agile (DevOps) team ‘Malware Protection’ you work together with your team members to deliver malware protection security solutions that contribute to a safer IT infrastructure of the bank.

You have large knowledge and experience in implementing and configuring malware protection in large organizations, preferably with the Microsoft security suite. Having knowledge and experience with for example Security Use Cases, network security in an Azure environment, SIEM systems is an advantage. 

In your background, it is clear that you are comfortable in large and complex technical environments. You have your own specialism and you want to extend, utilize and share your knowledge in a no-nonsense environment.

Your profile

• Good communications skills, ability to reach an agreement on requirements and solutions in communications with stakeholders at different levels of the organization;
• You are not afraid of being ‘in the spotlight’ and demonstrating your achievements;
• Relevant (security) certifications, or proof of having the competences (like AZ-104, SC-200)
• Experience in working in a security environment, preferably in the financial sector;
• Problem solving attitude;
• Actively share knowledge with other team members;
• Follow trends and developments inside and outside the bank and integrate them with company-wide solutions.
• Team player
• Working agile in a DevOps team
