Your job
ABN AMRO Bank is seeking a Business Consultant to join our team of Sustainable Finance Regulations (SFR) team within Credits and help implement sustainable finance regulations and ESG guidelines within our new lending landscape.
As a Business Consultant SFR/ESG, you will be responsible for designing processes and data requirements, assessing the impact on lending applications and ensuring proper and timely preparation for implementations. You will be coordinating requests in the area of SFR/ESG that impact our credits applications and data environments (or data delivery) throughout the credits landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysing SFR/ESG data requests
- Designing SFR/ESG processes and data requirements for the credits environment
- Assessing the impact of SFR on lending applications
- Prepare for the executing of changes and integration activities in the areas of processes, data and IT to ensure proper and timely implementation
- Handover of data and process requirements to the implementation partner
- Collaborating with stakeholders across the bank, including credits, finance & risk, data, and IT departments
- Staying up-to-date on sustainability, ESG, and related developments
Working environment
The Value Proposition Team Credit Chain works for all departments in the Lending Transformation organisation. It is a new, relatively small team, which collaborates closely with all teams in the departments of the credits domain. We are working towards a futureproof IT and operational lending landscape that enhances our product delivery and which is regulatory compliant by design.
Your profile
Who are we looking for?
You are a proactive and analytical young professional who is passionate about sustainability and excited about the challenge of implementing SFR/ESG within our new lending landscape. You are able to communicate complex information clearly and effectively. You should be able to explain sustainable finance regulations to clients and stakeholders in a way that is easy to understand, even if they do not have a background in finance.
Your profile:
- University Master's degree with at least 2 years working experience
- Analytical & problem-solving skills
- Eye for detail
- Proactive and positive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English

- The gross monthly salary (min. Eur. 3.966 - max. Eur. 5.665) displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget. A 40-hour work week is also possible.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
- Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
