Product Owner Credits

Your job

As Data Product Owner (DPO), you are responsible for the delivery of Data Products and/or Golden Datasets to Credits data domain of ABN AMRO.
Your scope is the golden data sets of Asset Based Finance. As DPO you have specific in-depth knowledge of the data domain related standards and guidelines.
You organise and lead the Credits Data Product Team (CDPT), this team is an agile-working team focussing on the continuous development of data related products, services and processes. You are responsible for taking informed decisions and achieving the objectives set for the CDPT. 

Some examples of your responsibilities:

• Deliver Data Products aligned with the (data) strategy of the Credits Data Domain and ABN AMRO
• Manage (data) risks for a Data Product and or Golden Datasets
• Gather Data Product requirements and deliver the Data Product compliant to the relevant standards and policies, local law and regulations
• Implement Data Quality Checks
• Alignment with other data domains, and resolution parties on progress of data issues 
• Identify and act on impediments and other factors which hamper issue resolution.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with BCBS 239 and other regulations(such as GDPR). 
• Coach, motivate and develop the team members
• Be inspiring and supportive in leadership and sets the example for others

Working environment

The new CDPT is part of the Value Proposition ABF Commercial Finance> and is part of the ABF Data Community.
The CDPT consists of Data Stewards with a single reporting line to you and Data Engineers from the IT Department(functional reporting line). Additionally the team may consist of Data Analysts, Data Scientists and Subject Matter Experts, which will be added to the team on a use-case basis.
You report directly to Iris Reijndorp and you will also have a functional reporting line to the Credits Data Domain Owner of ABN AMRO bank.

You are an energetic individual with a passion for combining strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You provide your team with the ability to not only keep up with, but also pioneer, in their field of expertise and you can motivate and inspire your employees to follow your example.

• You work and reason at a university level
• You know how a bank works and have experience (3+ years) as a product owner
• You have a proven track-record in the field of data management
• You have strong knowledge and experience in products, processes, IT systems and data within the field of Credits and preferable Lease and Factoring 
• You oversee the complexity of regulation, compliance, legislation, risk, commercial interest, IT and know how this related to each other
• You are skilled in analysing and structuring complex problems, identifying solutions/options and presenting your advice to stakeholders in a convincing and structured manner
• You are a solid communicator and discussion partner for stakeholders at all levels
• You have effective cross-functional collaboration skills

• As a leader you know how to show up for your team and adjust your communication style to the different audiences.
• You mobilise your team to collaborate, enable execution and get the right results.
• You encourage and empower your team to challenge the status quo and to experiment

• The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
