Your job
You will be part of one of the teams within Capital & Control Basel Chain. Your focus will be on DevOps, Development combined with ops and testing capabilities to make sure we run quality software with the highest care, availability and performance.
Cooperation and communication in the team and within our IT chain are essential for our success. You are pro-active, stand your ground, and possess excellent communication skills.
Learning, making progress and continuous improvement for yourself, the team and our IT chain are your second nature.
Working environment
You will work in your own scrum team and participate in all team activities such as daily stand-ups, refinement and planning meetings as well as retrospectives. In a transparent way, you and your team are responsible for the progress and quality of your work.
Your team consists of a mix of international medior and senior IT Engineers. Part of the team is situated in India, other part is working from the Netherlands. The team works mainly from home and partially from the office. The way your team works is pragmatic, hands-on, curious and open towards its place in the bigger organizational IT transformation program. This leads to becoming a true DevOps team. Within the department, various teams work closely together, as they often depend on each other’s work.
Your profile
We expect 10+ years experienced candidate, interested in developing, testing, maintaining or work on enhancements in ETL technology stacks.
As an IT engineer, you will come to work in an energetic and experienced team. We source, prepare and summarize information in regulatory reports. The team operates along with agile principles, with all members sharing responsibility for : the preparation of information for specific reports, the operation, oversight and continuous improvement of the business process and technical systems used by the team to do stakeholder management, planning and co-ordination.
Primary Skills:
- Familiar with Devops way of working.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic attitude to learn new things / work on your skills of tomorrow.
- Ability to work independently, responsibly, adapt quickly and maintain a positive attitude.
- Cultural sensitivity is important as you will work with different nationalities and cultures in one team.
Nice to Have :
- SQL programming, Azure, Shell scripting
- Basic Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification
- ITIL certification
We are offering
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
