Wat je gaat doen

You are going to responsible for the DevOps tools and infrastructure and to start dynamic environments of one of the teams in the department. To do this, you will use technologies and tools such as AWS Cloud Native (K8s, EKS, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, etc.), Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repositories, etc.) and ArgoCD (GitOps). Besides directly contributing to our solutions, your responsibility is also to coach the more junior colleagues to become better engineers, help us to develop general best practices and foster a true engineering culture. Your main responsibilities are to:

Build, maintain and optimize our cloud infrastructure
Build, maintain and optimize our CI/CD pipelines
Create a cost-efficient infrastructure and supporting processes (FinOps)
Talk to users to explore their needs and produce feasible solutions

Finally, you are eager to learn and always looking to acquire new skills or try modern technologies, methodologies, and processes.

What you will bring is:

5+ years of experience in software development and extensive knowledge of engineering skills such as GIT and CI/CD
Demonstrable knowledge of topics such as Observability, Performance, Reliability, Scalability
Demonstrable knowledge about architecting Cloud Solutions
Experience with IAC, preferably using AWS CDK
Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker
Experience with AWS & Azure
Experience with GitOps, preferably using ArgoCD
Experience with observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana/DataDog)- is an advantage
